BRIEF OVERVIEW OF MINISTRY

Daystar Christian Centre as a role model institution is structured around the five (5) purposes of the church one of which is ministry. It is our understanding that to have a healthy and growing church, serious emphasis should be laid on each universal purpose of the church to which end the Ministry Team was established to encourage every member of Daystar towards carrying out ministry in every aspect of life. Our vision is to turn every member into minister and we seek to do this by empowering members to make full proof of their ministries by harnessing their SHAPE – Spiritual gifts, Hearts, Ability, Personality, and Experience.

Each member of our church has the opportunity of fulfilling ministry through either our SERVICE UNITS or SPECIALISED MINISTRIES, and if led to bring God’s touch to people who we are not reaching presently or through a new medium why not START A NEW MINISTRY. To JOIN EXISTING MINISTRIES has never been easier, fill out a form online and someone will contact you soon enough. With over 900 HOME FELLOWSHIP centres spread all around the city of Lagos, it easier to touch somebody in our ‘Jerusalem’.

In order for us to prepare you adequately to carry out ministry in every facet of life, our MINISTRY SCHOOL is the 300 Level of Daystar Academy. This is where we help you to discover yourself, ministry gifts and teach you how to effectively serve people with your unique S.H.A.P.E. This team is headed by Godwin Uwubanmwen
